The Capital Garage is an automotive repair shop, situated amongst a residential neighborhood, less than a block from the Eastport Marina in Annapolis, Maryland. The intent is to remove the dilapidated wood-frame second floor, point up the masonry shell, and drop in a new systems-built two-story single family home. 2/3 of the existing footprint will be used for the new home, with the remaining third used as an entrance courtyard. A new detached two-car garage will be set at the rear, with the backyard and garden between the two structures. objet design is partnering with Fusion Custom on this project.
